This course equips you with contemporary public health practice, addressing both traditional and emerging issues affecting communities and the environment.
You’ll gain conceptual knowledge and develop practical skills to support public health efforts across educational, organisational, socio-economic, environmental, and political areas. Topics include areas such as infectious disease control, environmental health policies, and mental health advocacy. The course provides a solid foundation in key public health topics, with content structured to support your learning progressively.
In your second year, you can either conduct research with an academic supervisor or focus on enhancing your leadership and practical skills.
